HB 2362 appears to be still another attempt by a legislator to assume management of the state's wildlife resources. Prior to his takeover of those complex responsibilities, I want to know the extent of his education in this field of study. I want to encourage our representatives statewide to support this bill. Also, add to it a measure to disallow County Commissioners, as well as Township Boards, the opportunity to hire people to destroy prairie dogs, moles and gophers and bill landowners for the expense. It disappoints me that the legislature is attempting to determine this issue. It must be left to the courts to decide and those decisions abided by rather than overruled by the legislature.

Such "fees" are simply another form of taxation which we were told wouldn't happen.

Once again I feel that SB 100 is very irresponsible legislation. Citizens living on minimal and fixed incomes are taxed for their purchases of life's necessities. How can it possibly be considered appropriate or fair to expmpt those who are enjoying non-essential pleasures and/or earning income from recreational activities? Very unfair and inappropriate

I urge the both houses of the Kansas Legislature to pass this bill.

I assume this bill if passed would be a measure to reduce spending. If so, I would agree that it is necessary legislation.

SB 100 would exempt recreational activities from sales tax at a time when the legislature is over their heads in red ink. If this bill gets any further than committee it will be an absolute display of irresponsibility on the part of those who represent us. It seem ludicrous that we must pay sales tax on purchases needed for existance but others can
