Introduced by Sen. Mary Pilcher Cook (R) on February 11, 2009, to cite as a violation of the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which grants states sovereignty over powers not enumerated to the federal government in the Constitution, compulsory federal legislation that direct states to comply under threat of penalties or loss of federal funding, and to urge such federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

As far as I know when the legislature adjourned it did so until January. I was told there would be no further action on this bill until January 2010. in the meantime, you can just hook up with groups that are forming to bring more attention to this.

Perhaps this person can get you more information on how to get involved.
