Pat Apple (R) on January 20, 2010, in his role as a committee chair, to require a requesting local telecommunications carrier to only need to demonstrate that the commercial mobile radio services provider provides local telecommunications services to customers in an exchange area with fewer than 75,000 local exchange access lines, in order for the Kansas Corporation Commission to price deregulate .
