To bad the people of Kansas couldn't get a tax exemption.  Unfortunately we do not pay our legislatures as much as Koch and the big company's...To bad

Anybody know the answer to the question posed by previous poster??  I'd sure like to think I could waive paying state withholding taxes for up to ten years on my employees.

So do existing businesses located in Kansas receive the same preferential treatment with regards to waiving the withholding taxes for new hires?  I assume it does because while I don't mind competition on a level playing field, I wouldn't think that the state is subsidizing new companies (competitors) to relocate to Kansas.  It is hard enough to compete for business these days without having competitors move to Kansas and then benefit from a tax incentive that is not available to existing businesses.
